Full Course Load: Empowerment, Exposure, Empathy (September to May)

This is the full, recommended course load for students. It runs through the school year and includes all 3 tenets of the program:

  • Tenet 1: Empowerment (September to November)

    • Objective: Students will be able to clearly and thoroughly relay their ideas to their peers and in front of an audience

  • Tenet 2: Exposure (November to March)

    • Objective: Students will be able to ground their thoughts in real-world knowledge by developing: a) basic research skills, b) a simple yet consistent reading habit, and c) the ability to critically analyze what they are reading

  • Tenet 3: Empathy (March to May)

    • Objective: Students will be able to successfully utilize social-emotional learning tools in academic and non-academic settings.

Partial Course Load (Two Tenets of Choice)

You may mix and match two tenets of your choosing. Our recommendation is to do tenets that follow each other sequentially.
