Meet the Team Behind The Dream
Audra Langston
Audra is a veteran communication and speech/debate educator who has spent nearly three decades helping kids grow into confident, kind communicators. Parents trust her because she teaches more than speaking — she teaches students how to be good people who listen well, express themselves clearly, and treat others with respect. She currently teaches speech and debate at a private school and brings that same encouragement and structure to her work with elementary students at NextGen Speakers Academy. Audra is known for making shy kids feel brave, energetic kids feel focused, and all kids feel seen and capable. Her expertise has resulted in her students not only attending Ivy League schools but even coaching the USA’s national debate team.
Sauvik De
Sauvik De is a parent who has personally witnessed the life-changing impact of public speaking on his own children. His elder daughter who began her journey as a shy, introverted elementary school student eventually blossomed into the Texas State Champion during high school. His younger son has gone on to become a national-level public speaker, demonstrating the confidence and communication skills that public speaking can nurture from an early age. As a parent, Sauvik brings a unique perspective to every child's development. He understands the hopes, concerns, and challenges parents face because he has walked the same path himself. Beyond coaching students, he partners with parents to create a supportive environment that helps children build confidence, communicate effectively, and discover their true potential—skills that will benefit them for a lifetime.
SunHee Simon
SunHee Simon graduated from Stanford University in 2019 (BA in African American History; MA in Sociology). Her debate accolades are many, from winning national tournaments to representing the United States on Team USA. She has dedicated the past decade of her young career to coaching fantastic debaters who have reached accolades even more impressive than her own. This includes, but is not limited to, having several of her students on Team Texas, the USA Development team, as well as championing multiple national speech & debate tournaments. Her students have gone on to attend colleges like Wharton, Stanford, Harvard, Cornell, Duke, the University of Texas, and more. She is based at Coppell High School, where she continues to coach, laugh, and grow with her students every day.
